Your image stays yours.

Images you upload

When you choose an image file, Glyph processes it locally in your browser. The image is not uploaded to Glyph or a processing server. The generated ASCII result also stays in your browser unless you choose to copy or download it.

Image URLs

If you paste an image URL, your browser requests that address directly. The destination may receive the request and related network information. The destination must allow browser access through CORS; if it does not, loading the image will fail. Glyph does not route this request through a third-party proxy.

Accounts, cookies, and advertising

Glyph does not require an account. The current tool does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Third-party advertisements may be added to the site in the future; if that happens, those providers may use their own technologies and collect information as described in their policies.
